The Beauty of Simplicity

A Sundial is a horological device (Horology is the study of the measurement of time). The term Sundial refers to any device that uses the Sun’s altitude or azimuth (or both) to show the time.

Our unique Interactive Sundial consists of an Hour Scale and a Light Indicator created when sunlight passes through the two slots found on the rotating barrel. The Analemma, shown on the barrel, enables the user to correct the time and reach an accuracy of +/- 2 minutes. The uniqueness of our interactive Sundial is that it stimulates curiosity within the user to investigate and discover how time is calculated.
